This Logitech speaker system is exactly what I wanted. I purchased it to use with my IPhone 3G and it works perfectly. The sound quality is great. The built-in rechargeable battery lasts for many hours. And its small size and handy carrying case make very nice for travel. An excellent purchsse.

I have both pure-fi anywhere and mm50
the sound is barely the same, same 50mm full range with passive radiator
I don’t have ipod or iphone, but I have a special bluetooth adapter, which can connect to phone, pda, or computer to play music wirelessly
same as mm50, bluetooth doesn’t work with battery because no power supply to ipod slot
it added repeat and shuffle buttons on main body and remote, but the ipod jack is gone (mm50 has female ipod jack on the back)
if you want to use aux, you may notice an annoying problem: the speaker power is always on when Aux jack is plugged, there’s no way to turn off, and Aux input doesn’t work when ipod is docked (mm50 does opposite way)
the new battery status indicator is nice when using battery to notice the battery level anytime
if you already have mm50, keep it, if not, this one is a good choice because it has battery built-in
